Carolyn has retired!

After helping many, many families in our community over the years, Carolyn is officially retiring. Words are not enough to express my gratitude to Carolyn both for helping me feed my own babies and the years of professional knowledge and training she has shared with me. Carolyn has touched many lives in the Bellingham area throughout her career as an IBCLC-I always tell her she’s famous because when you start talking about feeding babies, everyone immediately thinks of her! Join me in wishing her well and here’s hoping she enjoys her time with her family, on her adventures, and travels.

With that, I am also announcing that I am taking over as the main lactation consultant for Essential Lactation. I hope that I can continue Carolyn’s mission of supporting parents, families, babies, and our community of wonderful birthworkers. I want to be transparent also and let you know that my availability will be limited at first, but I will do my best to help you find lactation care whether with myself or another local consultant.
